From second year, students are taught Thermodynamics, introductory electronics, signal processing and instrumentation, signals, systems and electric networks, microelectronics, control systems, communication systems, power systems, electromagnetic systems, electrical machines, and power generation techniques. The course curriculum is designed in such a manner that by the end of final year students are well equipped with the understanding of working and application of electric systems and engineering. Students are also given an option to emphasize on one or more sub disciplines towards the end of their course study.
