Chicken Masala powder is used to make Chicken Curry, a popular delicacy of India. In India this dish is prepared with many variations, like in some parts of north India people use curd to make a thick curry while in some gravy is kept thin without using curd and pieces of Chicken are cut large. Chicken Curry is also cooked with very little gravy, just enough to cover the Chicken pieces, when cooked in such a way it goes very well with plain or fried Rice. Chicken Curry is famous throughout South Asia and also in the Caribbean. In South India use of coconut oil for cooking and using coconut pieces as spice is popular way of making this dish.

In India numerous spices are used while making this dish, Chicken is marinated with Tomatoes, Garlic, Onions and Chili paste and is garnished to make it scrumptious and nutritious. Chicken dishes are loved all over the world due to their special taste, although some feel that high fat content in the chicken is not good for health but this dish is also high on protein, provides many vital minerals in high doses and vitamins of B-complex group. This dish is very good for people who are active and need good amount of energy in the body during the day.

Chicken Masala Powder is collection of all the spices which are necessary for making smacking Chicken Curry, if you do not have access to fresh and pure spices in raw form use Majithia Chicken Masala powder. This powder uses good quality ingredients and tastes as good as homemade powder. If you can purchase raw spices here is the recipe to make Chicken Masala Powder to flavor curry. Take Coriander seeds 2 tablespoons, Cumin seeds 3 tablespoons, Fennel seeds 2 tablespoons, Pepper corns 1 tablespoon, 5 whole Red Chilies, Black Mustard seeds 1 tablespoon, Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons, Grated dry Ginger or Ginger powder 1 teaspoon, 15-20 Curry leaves, 10 Cloves, one-forth teaspoon Fennel seeds and 2 sticks of Cinnamon.

Take a flat Frying pan and heat it, now one by one roast all the ingredients separately, do not roast Turmeric powder and Ginger powder. Roast spices on a low or medium flame, so that they get roasted from outside as well as inside. Once all the spices are roasted let them cool down, add ginger and turmeric powder and grind them to form a powder. Store this in an airtight container for future use.
