A pressure washer can be very useful at many places and for many different kinds of cleaning purposes. Proper knowledge of which pressure washer is required and to be selected is a must. Pressure washers are available of different types & styles and design, with varying amounts of power (which is based on how much pressure the pump provides). There are four different types of pressure washers. The differentiation on power washers is based on how the washer is powered and the manner in which the water is delivered. The first type is electric power washer. Clearly, an electric power washer is powered by electricity. Electric power washers are generally mounted on a portable hand cart for ease of access and movement. Electric power washers aren’t powerful as gasoline power washers and this is why they are just occasionally used for commercial purposes. The second type is gasoline power washer in which the pressure pump is powered by gasoline engine to run the pump. Gasoline power washers are also mounted on portable carts usually. The third type is hot water pressure washers which are used for cleaning stubborn stains and usually mounted to a truck or a trailer. Hot water pressure washers are generally gasoline powered. The fourth type is chemical mixture pressure washer in which cleaning is done by the mixture of solvent and water. Pressure washers have made cleaning jobs more efficient and residences, workplaces and industries cleaner than they ever could be. There are many different practical applications of pressure washers.
At home, a pressure washer can be very useful for stripping paint off wood, concrete & other surfaces, cleaning a wooden deck that has discolored or faded, and also for washing a car or boat. Commercially & industrially, pressure washers are used at gas stations to remove the unwanted grease, oil and other stains by hot pressure washers. Pressure washers are also used to clean gutters, decks & fences at commercial places, for construction and brick cleaning. Pressure washer is commonly used for cleaning a brick surface exposed to algae, smoke, bird droppings, sand and dust. Commercially, pressure washers are also used by garages and car-washes to wash cars & other vehicles. Pressure washers are also used for sandblasting for cleaning & smoothing a surface much faster than manually possible. Pressure washers are also used in sewer jetting, to unclog the sewer line and clean the sewer line completely.
