How To Get Tan Without Exposing Yourself To Harmful Rays Or Sunburn

Have You ever wanted a tan but were concerned about exposing yourself to harmful rays from the sun or tanning booth? Well what if I told you there was a different and safer way?

The solution is Sun Lab, a health and beauty company and leader in sunless tanning lotion. With Sun Lab's lotion, all you have to do is spread it on your skin and it will absorb the color and take on a tan just as if it happened naturally. You can buy different sunless tanning lotion packages in 8 or 32 oz bottles. You can buy the lotions or gels individually, but for best results, I would recommend purchasing the whole tanning kit for tan overnight, dark sunsation, and ultra dark products.

On a side note before you get started with your tan, these tanning lotions do come out of their bottles looking very dark in both the cream and the foam lotions, but do not let that discourage you from using them. Once you start spreading the lotion around your skin, it will blend in like a more natural looking tan.

Here is a general step by step guide for applying your sunless tanning lotion if you're using a cream or foam kind. Note that the steps may vary for some lotions so it's important to follow any directions that are listed on the lotion kits you purchase, but for most applications, this is how they will be done.

First, you will want to get rid of any dry or calloused skin as much as possible so that the lotion will not leave any off-color spots or streaks on you. This is usually done by using an exfoliating gel, either one provided by Sun Lab or one of your own, in the shower.

Once you've gotten rid of the dry skin, you will want to make sure your body is dry and free of any water. In some cases, you may need to apply a moisturizing lotion to your body that makes your skin not wet, but just moist enough to make the tanning lotion go on smoothly.

Once you've done that, you can apply your lotion evenly on your body. Because your hands may get darkly colored, you may need to use the exfoliating gel or wash them each time after an application to one area of the body to prevent them from becoming darker than the rest of your body.

When you're finished applying the lotion, you may need to wait about an hour or so before getting dressed. It's also a good idea not to apply the tanning lotion right before going to bed so you don't stain the sheets. The longer the time the lotion dries without contact, the better the results. If you're using a spray-on lotion, you may want to use a tanning mit to spread it around your body and do it in a location where you will not ruin your floor. Once you're done, you now have a tan that can last up to about 4 or 5 days before reapplying the lotion again.
