The transformation is magnificent.
When it comes to frog life cycle, then you need to know that there are three important life stages that they need to go through. The adult frog will lay their eggs in the water or any wet places. Their eggs look like a floating transparent slippery object and these are known as spawns. You need to become aware that the bigger the clump is, the larger the survival rate of these tadpoles is. When there is only small clump floating around the water, then fishes as well as other aquatic animals will just eat them. These eggs are protected with a jelly like coating and each egg has a single cell. There will come a time when it will multiply and will produce group of cells that is known as embryo. Slowly, it will become organs as well as gills. It will stay in its development stage for 21 days.
When it is still in its tadpole stage, then an embryo will come out of its jelly cover and it will attach itself to the weeds and will transform into a tadpole. It looks like a small fish because it has a tail. Their main source of food is plants and the weeds in the water. There is a great danger during this phase as there is a chance that they will be eaten by larger fishes and other creatures. When they surpass the tadpole stage within the period of five weeks, then it will soon develop fore legs and hind. This is the time when their tails will become shorter and they will develop legs. You will notice that they will start to come out of the water to breathe in some air.
After some time, you will start to notice a frog anatomy as they lose tail, shed some skin and their lungs will become fully developed. If you have your own tadpole kit, then you will notice that they will spend most of their time outside on the land, but they will still swim. This is why you need a larger container for your pet when it reached the adult phase. Aside from that, they will also start to eat insect like flies. Frog life cycle is very easy to understand and it can happen if you will opt for a tadpole kit that you can buy online. You can grow them inside your home without any pressure.
