To fill the details in the income tax form take the help of the tax deducted at source certificate and make sure they match exactly. Once you have done that click on tabulate to find out the amount of tax that needs to be paid. After checking the amount and then make a payment for the same online using your card or bank account. Save the receipt and upload the details on the site and click validate. On validating you will receive a message that says upload successful. You have to save the receipt for future reference and take a printout of it to be sent to the income tax department.
The government site is usually the one you log into to pay tax online. However there are other online websites that can help you do the same. These websites are private websites that help you right from the documents needed to the process that you would need to follow to pay your taxes. You also get support in the form of customer advisors that are available both on chat and on call too. Websites such as H & R block provide other services as well for income tax purposes.
