There is a man named Lui Hua in China and this man has the largest hand in the world. His left thumb alone measures 10.2 inches and the index finger is almost 12 inches long. This is because of the condition called as Macrodactyly, which is a rare condition among humans. He underwent a surgery for removal of 11 pounds of bone and flesh from his body.

Two people from India named Devendra Harne and Pranamya Menaria hold the record of having a number of fingers in their hands. Both of them have 25 fingers in total 12 of them in their hands and 13 in their toes.

Compared to other areas of the human skin, the fingertips are known to have the highest concentration of thermoreceptors and receptors. These tips are highly sensitive to vibration, pressure, moisture, texture and temperature.

The Arrector Pill muscle is the only muscle that can be found in this part of the body and this holds them in position and gives them the ability to move.

People looking for some weird interesting fun facts about the human body, will be surprised to know that the length of the ring finger will be decided on the basis of the level of testosterone in the body of the individuals. If the ring finger is longer, the man or women will give birth to a child with more masculine nature.

In some countries like India, the wedding ring is worn on the right hand ring finger just because the left hand is considered unfavorable by them. On the other hand, in western culture, it is worn on the left hand as the vein in this finger, which is believed to the be vein of love is directly connected to the heart.
