Living Up To The Musical Dreams With Santana

Carlos Santana with millions of fans all over the world is one of the greatest musicians of all time. Santana first came into lime light in 1960s. The band of Santana made name in short time with their awesome music tracks based on Latin American and fusion rock music type. Santana kept working on his popularity which has not fallen to this day. You can find this star every now and then in news or in magazine covers for his great musical tracks or awards he gets.

Carlos Santana being born at Mexico learn violin as his first musical device. Santa used to play violin when he was five years old and he learned playing guitar by the 8th year after he was born. Due to being born in music generation with stars like Ritchie Valens rocking the world, Santana had a great influence and decided to be musician himself. Magical Santana later moved to San Francisco where he got the chance to see the music stars perform which he admired most.

Progressing up on music charts little by little, Santana became the full time musician in 1996. The world of music hardly took any time to recognize his great talent as he signed its record deal with CBS records. Santana created its first studio album with CBS records. The first studio record album was a great success and created great name and popularity for Santana and his band. The first album of Santana which was released in August soon became one of the top tracks. The track ranked number 4 on U.S best album charts at that time.

With increasing popularity, Santana and his band started performing in different cities all around US and other countries. One of the best performances of Santana’s band came live in Woodstock festival in 1969. Despite of the sudden success, the Santana band handled pressure well and kept the fans hooked onto them by launching quality tracks one after another. Jingo, Evil Ways, Black Magic Women, Oye Como Va, Samba Pa Ti are the top five tracks that sold most in market and loved by most people.

Santana band launched its second studio recorded album in September 1970. The second album created by the Guitarist Santana and his band was a mix of different types of music including rock music, salsa and jazz music. The second album release included the two top track hits of all time oye com ova and Black magic women. The album was in charts for 88 weeks in a row.

With increasing number of musicians and with increasing competition, Santana band remained calm and survived the competition. During the quite years of 1972-79, Santana shifted to different styles and got more into spirituality. Santana learned about the newly discovered music categories and styles that were just getting popular with the public and local market. In 1980s, the Santana and his band came back into lime light with launch of new albums and tracks.
