It contains so many beneficial polyphenols as well as antioxidants that are beneficial for the health. Heart diseases: One of the benefits of green tea is in preventing the heart diseases as it lowers the level of cholesterol. Even if a person suffers from heart attack, the green tea prevents the death of the cells as well as speed up the recovery of these cells in the heart.

Strong bones: The benefit of green tea is that one can keep his bones strong as it contains very high content of fluoride. One can also preserve the bone density by drinking the green tea regularly.

Blood Pressure: Green tea helps in preventing high blood pressure too. Green tea keeps your blood pressure down by repressing angiotensin that is the main cause of high blood pressure.

Asthma: Green tea is very helpful in preventing asthma too as the muscles that support the bronchial tubes are relaxed with the help of the green tea and that is the reason that the severity of asthma is reduced.
