Even brides have begun wearing cowboy boots under their beautiful, white wedding dresses for a fun twist. Another fun western wear trend is the wearing of shorts with cowboy boots. Although this is not a traditional western look, it certainly falls in the western wear category. Boots, worn with an adorable skirt and a jean jacket make an outfit that is not only fun to wear, but practical as well. Although this outfit can be classified as women's western wear, women may wear it anywhere in the world and still feel well-dressed for almost any occasion.

Like so many Womens western wear, blue jeans have become commonplace and are the pants of choice in many countries. Blue jeans paired with boots and a cute top, can turn a long time city girl into a cowgirl. These jeans are generally boot cut, allowing plenty of room for the cowboy boots. A western look can be achieved when jeans are worn with a western top or jacket. Western tops have a unique look to them, often tailored and form-fitting. Accessories also play a big part in women western wear. Boots, a western belt, cowboy hat or turquoise jewelry can instantly change an outfit. Cowboy boots come in various styles and colors. Cowboy boots have a pointed toe and frequently rise to the middle of the calf. Boots can be worn under the jeans or the jeans can be tucked into the books. A western style belt is commonly worn and is typically made of leather, with a large silver buckle. Leather is a common material found in western wear.

Some Womens Western Wear include a cowboy hat with the outfit. These hats were originally designed to keep the sun off the face, and therefore have a broad brim. Frequently made of leather, straw is another material utilized in the production of these hats. The hat is not necessary to complete the western wear look, but certainly adds to the effect.

Jewelry can complement the outfit. Turquoise or silver jewelry looks particularly stunning on a black, brown or navy blue top or dress. Western outfits are comfortable, practical, and fashionable.
