Should you have a header graphic or not? This is a question that only you can answer. Good idea to test this and see what converts best for you - testing is the only way to find out these things. You can test with two option boxes - one with a header, and the other without. On one squeeze page, make sure the opt in box is on the right side.

The other one will be in the header graphic, itself, or however you want to create it. Just like a header graphic, it should create higher conversions for you by doing this. In the end, it comes down to testing and the type of audience or niche that you are targeting.

One piece of prep work you must do is figure out your message and those to whom you are writing. Those who do this all the time are copywriters, but this is just as important for any IM marketer. When you understand your audience, then you will be better able to talk to them in their language. Maybe this seems hard to do, but there is nothing tough about it and trying to connect without this information is much harder. Everybody wants to make money on the net, so why not bring this into your toolbox?

It is not enough just being able to recite the elements of a squeeze page. No, you not only need to build them but also test them and optimize them for the best conversions possible. Creating a squeeze page is actually not that difficult if you have the necessary skills and knowledge necessary to get the job done.
