Sonia Gandhi: Corruption Has Broken All Its Records Under Bjp’s Ten Year Regime

Chhattisgarh, Bhilai: Congress President and UPA Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi addressed a Congress huge rally in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. A huge crowd of more than 15,000 people were gathered in the rally to hear Mrs Gandhi.
The Congress leader started the speech by paying condolences to the families of Police Jawana who were killed in Naxal attacks in Chhattisgarh. She also encountered the BJP in her policies. Sonia Gandhi noted that Congress had not left any stone unturned but due to BJP’s carelessness people couldn’t avail what they deserve to get.
The Congress president also pointed out that BJP’s ten year regime had broken all records of corruption. “CAG has pointed fingers towards several ministers and BJP leaders over corruption but the state government took no action against them.”
Sonia Gandhi also assured the people it would be a different scenario if they choose Congress this time. “We don’t believe in making false promises. We do, whatever we say. We have not only assured to take several measures for improving education, health and industrial growth but also offered that we will take necessary steps to ensure welfare,” said the Congress President.
Sonia Gandhi then struck a chord with the Tribals and said, “The upliftment of all sections of the societies especially Adivasis, Dalits and backwards in our manifesto which has a detailed roadmap for all round development of Chhattisgarh.”
She added the Congress has been working with dedication and commitment and trying to improve the status of Chhattisgarh’s people but BJP is not helping the cause.
“We will honestly deliver on our promises with commitment, dedication and devotion. Our efforts will be to ensure progress of the state and improvement in the lives of the people. We will implement schemes that the BJP-led government hasn't implemented so far,” assured Sonia Gandhi.
