Taj Mahal: It has been visited by countless people of the world. Every foreigner who comes to India, either as a traveler or as a politician or businessman, visits Agra positively. And the Taj Mahal is situated in banks of river of Yamuna. And it’s looking very nice. It’s made by white marble with a great design. It took 20 year to build.
Sikandra: This structure has a perfect blending of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain themes. Sikandra is named after Sikandra Lodi, the Delhi ruler who was in power from 1488 to 1517. And it is made by Akbar the great. And Sikandra is the mausoleum of Akbar. Akbar himself started construction of this beautiful monument.
JAIPUR:
This city is unusual among pre-modern Indian cities in the regularity of its streets, and the division of the city into six sectors by broad streets 34 m wide. And the urban quarters are further divided by networks of gridded streets. Nahargarh Fort, which was the residence of the King Sawai Jai Singh II, crowns the hill in the northwest corner of the old city.
City Palace: This palace was built between 1729 and 1732, initially by Sawai Jai Singh II. And The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence. The palace complex, which is located northeast of the centre of the grid patterned Jaipur city, incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings.
Jantar Mantar: Jai Singh II of Amber built his new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1734. It is also located in Ujjain and Mathura. The Jantar Mantar was made by Sawai Jai Singh as he was particularly interested in learning about the sky above his head. And the jantar mantar is built from local stone and marble, each instrument carries an astronomical scale, generally marked on the marble inner lining.
VARANASI:
Earlier it is known by Banaras. And this is situated on the banks of Ganga River in Uttar Pradesh. And Some Hindus believe that death at Varanasi brings salvation. And the culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the Ganges. The city has been a cultural center of North India for several thousand years, and has a history that is older than most of the major world religions.
Ram Nagar Fort: It is in a typically Mughal style of architecture with carved balconies, open courtyards, and scenic pavilions. The Ram nagar Fort located near the Ganges River on its eastern bank, opposite to the Tulsi Ghat. This fort and its museum are the repository of the history of the kings of Benares. It has been the home of the Kashi Naresh since the 18th century. The current king and the resident of the fort is Anant Narayan Singh who is also known as the Maharaja of Varanasi even though this royal title has been abolished since 1971.
Ghats: Ghats in Varanasi are an integral compliment to the concept of divinity represented in physical, metaphysical and supernatural elements. And Varanasi has at least 84 Ghats. And the Dashashwamedh Ghat is the main and probably the oldest ghat of Varansi located on the Ganges, close to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. And there are also temples dedicated to Sulatankesvara, Brahmesvara, Varahesvara, Abhaya Vinayaka, Ganga (the Ganges), and Bandi Devi which are part of important pilgrimage journeys.
