Taking your little kid out is not a matter of joke. You will have the tension of how your newborn will react to the great world outside and then there is an added worry of keeping your child dry. In order to keep the child clean and comfortable you have to carry some diapers. However, most of the parents come up with the query whether it is healthy diapering baby on the go.

The paediatricians are of the opinion that diapers are must have whether you are taking your baby out for a walk or going out to spend the entire weekend. The number of diapers that you will require will depend on the length of the trip. If you are going out for an afternoon you will require 2 to 3 diapers but the count can be 12 if you are planning to stay overnight. Most of the diapers available today have super absorbing capacity. You can let the baby pee twice in the same diaper. However, check whether the diaper is completely dry after the baby pee once. If the baby’s skin is exposed to moisture it may lead to diaper rashes.

Most of the people buy nappies, a small towel or a baby blanket to keep in their bag while they are taking their babies out. However, some other care essentials in the bag and the knowledge of improvising can make the diapering on the go really easy for the parents.
Some of the diapering essentials that you will require while travelling with the baby includes:

Wipes: A travel pack size of baby wipes is essential that you must have in your diaper bag. It will let you easily handle filthy diapers and clean off sticky hands. If you got a big box of wipes at home, do not run to purchase a travel pack when you are planning to take your baby out. Take few wipes from the big box into a zip lock pouch and stack it in your diaper bag.

Changing pads: You may have to change the diapers of your kid anywhere. In order to keep your baby safe, clean and healthy you must carry a portable changing pad. Many diapers bag come with built-in changing pads. Disposable changing pads are also available. If you completely forget to bring changing pads from your home it is best to manage with newspapers or lavatory paper towels.

Plastic bags: Once you done with diapering, where you will throw away the dirty baby nappies, changing pads or wipes? Lots of parents therefore keep few grocery plastic bags with the diapers and the wipes. These bags are light and practically take no room in your travel bag, yet are a great way to control odour and mess when out in public.
