Total Articles: 156
One of the significant outputs on the economic revolution in Australia is the rise on employment. The statistics reveal that employment rates in Australia have increased by 15%. The workforce has been allocated to different spaces in the economy. But, the gap still looms large on the industrial side. In view of the same, ASRI ‘Australia Skills Recognition Information’ has raised demand for Recruitment Consultants immigrate to Australia. Skilled migration comes across as the right opportunity for every such individual who wants to live and work in this land of opportunities.
ASRI describes the job as-
The person has to look after the recruitment function of a consultancy by identifying skills for a job and matching this up by the right talent.
Clearly, the job requires the candidate to be knowledgeable, resource rich and network oriented. The job has been classified under Skill type 1 as per ANZSCO ‘Australia and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupation’. The candidates are required to have either of the two; a Bachelor’s degree or a relevant experience of 5 years. For certain jobs categorised under skill type 2 the candidates are preferred who have an advanced diploma or on the job training. Clearly, ASRI has remained somewhat flexible on this account. The candidates with a relevant experience do have an equal chance as the candidate with a formal education.
What really matters on skilled migration is the ability to get as much points on Skillselect as possible. One needs to place an EOI ‘Expression on Interest’ along with all the details on the nominated occupation, skills, education, professional work experience and proficiency on English language. Skillselect will rate the skills as against a set criterion on eligibility. The applicants with at least 60 points on the board will only be able to qualify for the next round. Skillselect will take the invitations to those who have performed outstandingly well on the race to visa.
Whether or not you get the work visa depends on how you comprehend the facts and utilize the same to highlight your skills. Not only should you highlight your skills but the application should also have the IELTS certificate and the Assessment sheet. Your proficiency on English should be stated days before placing the EOI. One must take the exam at the authorised centre to show competencies on reading, writing, listening and speaking English. Similarly, the assessment sheet should be obtained by VETASSESS ‘Vocational Education and Training Assessment’. Skillselect also considers the sheet very significant for skills evaluation.
The visa program should also be selected judiciously. Four of the following visas can be utilized for Recruitment Consultants immigrate to Australia -
1) Regional Sponsorship Migration Scheme
2) Employer Nomination Scheme
3) Skilled Independent Visa
4) Standard Business Sponsorship
It must be noted that Skilled Independent visa depends solely on your points on Skillselect. Your merit decides your work visa. However, in case of a sponsored visa this gets easier with a nomination from an employer or the provincial government.
