Chocolate Cakes for the Happy New Year
A freshly baked and served chocolate cake can be the best way to earn the love of all around you. The cake may contain cherries and dry fruits like cashews, hazelnuts and almonds. You may allow whipped toppings in between layers of pure and yummy chocolate. You may then sprinkle ample quantities of chocolate shavings on the top and the sides to give it your special touch. You can be quite sure of lifting up the spirit of anyone who sets his eyes on the sumptuous cake. The final touch is imprinting your unique message on the cake and decorating it with other toppings. You can also have dark chocolate cakes with rich chocolate layers coupled with chocolate icing. Another choice is to go for an eggless chocolate cake with copious quantities of chocolate shavings on top. Even the sight of your chocolate cake would bring water to your guests’ mouths.
Recipe for Your Special Chocolate Cake
This absolutely delicious and lip smacking chocolate cake can be prepared by you at home in a simple way. First you need to grease the pan with white butter. After lining the pan with parchment paper you need to put some more butter and sprinkle some flour on to the pan. The flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda have to be mixed thoroughly, and it is best done by the use of a mixer. This dry mixture then needs to be added on to the oil, buttermilk, vanilla and eggs, and mixed again vigorously. The batter has to be consistently mixed until all the ingredients combine to form a smooth paste. You need to add coffee to your liking. The batter is then to be poured in the buttered pan and put inside the oven which has already been preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The baking has to be done for 40 to 45 minutes. After cooling the pan for a further 30 minutes, the cake is ready to be served. Now you may make it into a layered one by spreading chocolate frosting in between layers of the cake. You can make the top of your chocolate cake very special with your special touch by adding crushed chocolate or sprinkles.
