During Christmas season people decorate their house with all traditional flowers and especially Christmas trees (pine trees).
People take immense effort before decorating their home for Christmas celebration every year. They make sure they follow the traditional methods while decorating. There are few traditional Christmas flowers which are used in decorations. People start decorating right from the entrance of their and the other rooms.
Poinsettia is the most important flower in Christmas decorations. These are not exactly flowers; they are the leaves on the plant which looks like flower in bright red and green leaves. Nowadays Poinsettias are available in different color and patterns. Naturally they are available in white, pink and red. The retailers sell it by dyeing or spraying those leaves with artificial flowers. We can use these flowers to decorate the entrance of the home. It can be arranged like a winter tree with flowers. This can be done using the branches of trees removing all the leaves arrange them in a pot like tree, add stones preferably pebble and waters inside the pot at the bottom at last tie the poinsettia flowers to those branches.
Amaryllis is the second most important flower during Christmas season. These are mostly solid red in color mostly used to decorate the tables. Mostly red ones are sold in large amount. The flowers are like tubular in shape. They can be arranged in vase by making them stand erect along with the stem. Cut the flowers with few inches of stem depending on the height of the flower vase and make sure the flower is in cylindrical shape. Fill the flower vase with water and add pebbles at the bottom. Then arrange these flowers one by one to place it in the table, tie a ribbon around the vase to finish with the decoration.
Amaryllis can be presented in the other way to place it over the mantle here we use pineapple instead of vase. First we have to hollow out the pineapple and cut the base of the pineapple to make it a flat base and place in a circular bowl, fill the pineapple fruit with water and place these flowers inside this pineapple vase. To make it more interesting place some berries around the berries inside the circular bowl.
Rose is next most famous flower used in almost all celebrations also it plays a vital role in Christmas celebrations. Roses are used along with pine leaves and make it in different bouquet shapes.
