Help With Guarding Against Invasive Home Intrusion
Total Articles: 1
Whenever you reside in the city, you get accustomed to living with some element of danger. There is constantly the risk that you may be shot while going for walks out there, carjacked on the street or mugged while on public transportation.
However, regardless of where you reside, you should never have to be worried about or contend with home intrusion. Homes should be safe places and there are numerous ways to defend yours. One such kind of protection is a glass breakage alarm versus forced entries.
I bought one of these small alarms developed normally for attaching to glass windows or doors. Whenever turned on, any kind of shocks or vibration causes the item that I have to go off. It will sound a 100-decibel siren for half a minute and this will warn any individual nearby of any possible break-in.
A vibration alarm also complements a full home security system. The latter commonly ties into your home phone line and informs the police whenever the alarm is triggered.
I purchased several of the same alarm for use within my home and linked these to every single window on the first floor. Nobody can get to the next floor because we do not keep anything like garbage cans or boxes around our home.
At first, my wife was somewhat skeptical about my breakage alarms. She wasn't sold on the thought that this “buzzerâ€, as she called it, would drive off a thief. However, she did not desire to waste the purchase and was ready to accept new ideas, so we pressed on.
In the first two months of use, we came across no serious issues and the intruder alarms were never tripped. However, one night, at 3 in the morning, a man wearing black tapped lightly on our living room window and set off the alarm.
After hearing the loud buzzing noise coming from the glass breakage alarm, he left the scene. We contacted the cops and explained what went down and they arrested the suspect soon afterward.
