1. Group

By simply getting different 'groups' within the category to replicate the healing bible verses with other individuals in their group, you are going to have the ability to perform rote repetition more effectively. Group the class by boys, girls, people that have blue eyes, brown eyes, older sisters, younger brothers, colored socks, etc. etc. Of course, remember to ask for individual volunteers who have already memorized it.

2. Speed or Volume

Some kids are actually better at remembering a verse in case you get them to repeat it as quickly as they could. Give it a go, if only for the sake of variety! Try to duplicate the verse in a whisper or in loud voices.

3. Write it

As easy as it sounds, just have your pupils compose the verse on their own paper. After practicing together a few times, request the students to write as much because they are able to from memory without looking in the archetype. Then show the white board towards the class again to correct their faults. Writing a word uses a new thinking process other as opposed to verbal exercises. Also think of asking certainly one of your pupils before class to compose the verse on the board for you.

4. Sticky Note Scramble

Write each word of the verse an a 3M PostIt note and glue them to the white board in their own correct order.

a. As an alternative, you may randomly hand out the sticky notes, each paper to a random student. Ask "Will the individual with the following word within the verse please come for the board and put the term around the board?" Or say "Everyone please place your sticky note on your top, come to the very front part of the type and form a line with the words in correct order."

b. Pull the words off the board and possess a student re-assemble the words in their right order.

c. Start (or curriculum vitae) with the complete verse in the board. Eliminate the language, one or two at a time, and recite each time to the verse until most of the language are gone. Let students decide which word(s) to eliminate by eliminating a word that contains the first letter of the student's name. e.g. Jenny would eliminate all words that include the letter "J".
