This day is where lord Krishna had triumph over Narkasura the demon. Third day is Amavasya – it’s a day where the people in south perform poojas to Goddess Laxmi – the Goddess of wealth for the prosperity. Fourth day is celebrated as Bali padyami where the legendary story says that Lord Vishnu defeated Bali. Fifth day –Bhai Dhuj –it’s observed in north India this is the day for the prayers for well-being between brother and sister.
