Chartered Financial Analyst, which is shortly called as CFA is a highly responsible designation and this is why the course meant for becoming such a professional is also tougher and the examination conducted for certifying the title is also tougher. A record says out of the people trying out for this journey only 20% are succeeding. The program consist of three levels and each of them concludes with a six-hour test. The first examination is generally conducted during the first Saturday of the months of June and December and the second and third level exams are conducted generally during the first Saturday of the month of June each year. After successful completion of all these levels, candidates with four years of professional investment experience becomes eligible to get the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. 1.Get Organized: Once you are decided that you are going to sit for the forthcoming examination, you will have to begin your action plan for effective preparation. Here, make sure that you start your preparations well in advanced to avoid last minute rush. Remember that if you start your preparation six months before the test, you will have to spend at least 10 hours per week for preparation.
2.Develop an efficient study program: If you feel that you cannot prepare on your own just to lack of time or other reasons, the best thing you can do is to enroll in an institution. 3.Practice examinations and review materials: Do take up as many practice examinations as possible and this will increase your level of confidence. Even, review materials from Schweser and practice materials from Stalla can be helpful in this respect.
