Home is your castle. But still you require protection of every kind to feel comfortable. Locks, beams, alarms, electronic gadgets, weapons are some of the options. But the best option, as it comes with a personal touch, is a fully professional dog. They are fully trained to take on what they deem the opposition. Their bite hurts and they are very fleet on their foot.

Origin

The personal protection dogs have existed since the French Revolution, when noble houses would keep them to shirk off the peasant population. They have however taken real form only since the First World War, when a sense of insecurity was instilled in one and all. Those who give their dogs proper training since they are littered get good value for their pets. Even the seasoned dogs are given daily practice with fire, spears and weapons. They are the closest observers of men and so are dangerous.

Diet

If you hire protection personnel, you will fork out tones of money. You should not mind spending on your dog. Dogs are carnivorous and so vegetable is not applicable. Generally, it will partake with your leftover, but if you wish to ...
... treat it special, treat with bacteria-less beef, chicken, buff, pork, and turkey. Just make it reflexive of the main food in your household, say chicken, by continuously feeding the dog that till it catches up. Start with 1/20th meat of its weight and then increase from there.

Health

It should be sterilized and immune against Colic and Salmonella. Its bits should not result in Rabies. It should undergo every little health vaccination and digestive check-up, since animals are very prone to digestive allergies. Just be assured of how it climbs stairs, jumps at the objects on trees, leaps over fences and runs across. The relative speed should be analyzed every once in a while. It is noticeable that during breeding months, they tend to be slow.

Types and breeds

Personal protection dogs have been classified into several types and breeds. Some are exceptionally quick like the Belgian Malinois. Some sniff extraordinary like the German shepherd. Some have great memory like the Labrador. And some have the most effective bite; an example in case is the Rottweiler.
On top of them, there are Boxers and Golden Retrievers. These breeds are often resourced after negating the weak breeds after successive breeding. The best breeds are then trained from early childhood. Owners holding some real assets keep a variety of these dogs.

Protection dogs: Are they an intelligent investment?

Sometimes, personal protection dogs may turn to be a source of harm. They might destroy someone's store looking for that smell. They might bite someone who has got nothing to do with you. Often, thieves sue the household if they are bitten by dogs. This is due to simple assumption that dogs are inferior to men. Also, if the dog has contracted a mental virus, sometimes it turns into the owner's family. In that case, since they are originally dangerous, they make life difficult.
