These access cards have a magnetic strip encoded within which is read by card readers installed at the doors.

Commercial establishments with high security areas would tend to use electronic lock/unlock systems to avoid entry of any unauthorized personnel. Moreover, these cards also act an identity marks for the persons using them.

The best part of these access control cards is that they can be customized on the basis of the required safety measures. For example, if there is three prohibited section at a floor and each section needs to be visited by different group of people, you can use three different control cards to control the access of all three sections.

These cards act as a safety barrier by restricting the access to a particular area by different people. Such barriers can be a door, gate, turnstile, or an elevator. There are various applications areas where these cards are controlling the entry of persons such as hospitals, IT companies, banks, call centers, malls, government offices, jails, etc. Over the past few years, there has been significant rise in the use of access control cards across different industries.
