Total Articles: 200
Relocation of animals has always been an intricate task in the past .Safety and comfort of pets has always been a matter of concern for the pet owners. There are so many things that need to be kept in mind while moving pets like selecting the proper means of transport, providing proper care for the pet, safety of the pet and proper inspection of the animal along the way.
Most of the people are fond of pets like cats and dogs. There are so many different breeds of such pets which all require different treatment so an expert is needed for the job of moving pets. An expert that knows what kind of conditions are favorable for the animal species being transported and what extra care needs to be taken to ensure a blissful journey of the pet.
Most of the airlines suggest people to use Pet Transport carrier for pet transport. The job of deciding an Dog transport is done according to the needs of the species being transported and the animal size. The transporting dogs animals regulations has minimum standards for carrier construction for all kind animals ranging from an insect to an elephant. The airline being used for the transport must be informed at least 48 hours in advance because most of the airlines have a pre decided limit of the number of pets transported per flight.
Documentation before the move:
You need to finish the documentation before moving with your pets. Before moving dogs one should complete all kinds of paperwork such as rabies tag , vaccination history and all other information that will be needed in the new town to meet the local regulations.
In case of a cat transport, health certificate is a must for transportation.
Making the pet familiar with the carrier:
The pet should be made familiar with the carrier that they'll be travelling in. Cat's pay more attention to their surroundings and hence can't adapt any new changes immediately. So they need to be made familiar with the carrier before the move. We can place the cat's favorite blanket or toy inside the carrier to make the cat go inside it and slowly it will get used to going in there and hiding .This way she'll hide in the carrier when she's stressed which will help a lot while we move with the cat.
On the other hand dogs are easy to move with but still they need to be made comfortable with travelling to reduce anxiety. We can take them for a ride in the car, such short trip will add to the delightful aspects of travelling for the dog. Dog transport is easier but still care needs to be taken to make the travel a stress free and pleasing experience for the dog.
And finally we need to be calm while moving with pets because a lot of stress that a pet feels comes from the owner. Pets can feel it when we're stressed and they get tensed as well. Staying calm and keeping in mind all aspects of moving with pets we can make it a enjoyable experience.
