The human foot consists of 24 bones, which form two arches. The bones of the arch are held together by the shape with which they fit with each other and by fibrous tissues known as ligaments. These ligaments serve to hold these bones or the arches together. Arch pain often refers to a burning sensation and the pain which occurs at the arch of the foot.

There are many factors which can cause Achilles tendonitis and Arch pain. One of the most basic causes can be an injury to the foot. Another cause which can lead to this disease includes the inflammation of the fibrous band of tissues which connects to the heels to the toes. This disease is known as plantar fasciitis. The pain caused by it is frequent in the morning when the individual first get off the bed.

There are a few symptoms which are commonly seen in the patients of Arch pain. These may include pain at the arch while doing any activity, or just after finishing some activity. The way in which you walk can also be a reason behind the arch pain. Other causes of Arch pain may include genetically problems, old age and weight.

Although Arch pain is a very common foot condition which can be easily treated. It is advisable to avoid wearing high heels if suffering from this disease. Try to choose a foot wear which has a reasonable heel and has soft leather uppers, shock absorbing soles and removable foot insoles. However if the pain lasts long, and the pain begins to interfere with the activities of daily living, it is advisable to seek professional diagnosis. Another reason when the medical help should be taken is when the area where the pain occurs starts looking deformed, tender to touch or, is causing you to move differently. Treatment is best accomplishes with some simple stretching exercises, pain killers etc.

Physical therapy and exercises are the most preferred treatment of Arch pain. Doing physical exercises is the most relaxing treatment and has instant cure effects. Exercises subscribed by the professional therapists help a lot in treatment of these diseases. In the initial days of Arch pain, you can rely and these exercise. And at higher stages, medication is subscribed. These tablets have fewer side effects and are highly effective.

Since the foot pain is quite a common problem, it can result in a lot of problems. Treatment of the foot pain regardless of the cause, often begins with a more comfortable and accommodating footwear. Shoe inserts often helpful in Arch pain.

Although it is very difficult for the patients of arthritis to carry on with their daily tasks, there are a lot of therapies which help in reducing the effects and pain of the Arch pain.
