Websites that work not only drive plenty of traffic but also convert traffic into buyers - buyers of your book. Your website should be designed and engineered not just for any kind of visitor; it should be able to entice your target market. From sci-fi to inspirational, from erotic literature to self-help, your website has to entice your ideal readers so that they not only end up buying your books, but they'll also spread the word about it. And word-of-mouth, which is one of the more highly effective and economical forms of marketing, is done through social media sites in today's digital age.
You might think it easy to be seen and be read on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Pinterest. But gaining success with these social media sites takes enormous dedication, web-savvy, and experience. You'll want to choose online marketing strategists who have had enormous success with their own books, who have been in the industry for a long time, and who have social media pages of their own that receive impressive traffic.
