Some studies say that bachelor degrees can earn a person 50 percent more than someone with no higher education.
What Courses Will I Take?
Most programs start with general education courses in topics like history, philosophy, math and composition. By taking core courses, you'll learn how to compare and analyze the different styles of writing found in American, British and World literature. You might study the mechanics and history of the English language through courses in English rhetoric and theory. Additional course topics could include:

You may have the opportunity to get involved with student-run literary magazines. Some programs might expect participation in on-campus workshops or seminars.
