As technology evolves, how we sell products online changes and this is particularly true in the onlnie marketing world. Until recently, virtually all sales letters were mainly made up of formatted text. Nowadays, what we see are modern graphics packages merged with top-level copywriting. One of the main problems is keeping abreast with all these advances; of late, it's the arrival of the video sales letter with which we need to deal with. Making things even more challenging is the rising public awareness of these strategies; this allows people to rapidly find out the true nature of a sales letter and click away from it. This article discusses a new and better strategy to online sales, the "webinar".
It's been long shown that the first thing you must do is get people to feel they know you and trust you. This kind of trust is difficult to come by due to the large numbers of competitors in most niches, and the willingness of many of them to offer dubious products and services with bogus claims about their usefulness. However, there are still a number of ethical marketers who offer good value but they need to have a medium where they can present this. This is the reason webinars have become such an invaluable tool for numerous internet marketers. In essence, a webinar is an online seminar to which you are invited by the product owners themselves or one of their associates.
If you've already been to a webinar, you are aware that it was scheduled for a certain day and time, and it was not a recorded presentation. Ordinarily, the host share tons of free information and access to different marketing tools, while building the participants' respect for him and his services. Some webinars have more than one person presenting based on their individual skills and knowledge. Once the presenter has shown his expertise and earned your trust, you can expect some kind of special offer near the end of the webinar.
Because a webinar can attract people from many different time zones worldwide, scheduling can be a problem. For those who can't attend at the scheduled time, majority of presenters like to put a video replay of the event up online for viewing afterwards. To ensure you still get a good attendance for the actual event, you can offer something special for anyone who does attend the live broadcast. Encouraging individuals who can't make the live presentation to see it at a later date and time is new to the webinar arena. One other good aspect of recording your webinar is that it can be run and rerun whenever you want, as frequently as you want, with no further effort on your part. In addition, recording your event for later viewing allows for altering or fixing any mistakes or bugs before more people view it.
Bottom line: Spend time learning a bit about putting on webinars -- your bottom line will reward you extremely well, rest assured.
