For example, if you want to express friendship for that person, daisies would suit the best as it says that you love being in the other person’s company. These flowers can have various interpretations depending upon their shape and color and according to those who study the meaning of flowers. Orchids on the other hand have a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Some orchids are shaped like spiders, which could convey negative feelings such as jealousy and anger. Some orchids smell like chocolate and they can be interpreted as your undying love. Orchids are a rare species and are quite expensive. These characteristics of orchids can also interpret that you are one of a kind and are willing to shower both emotional and materialistic love on your partner.

The shops have to maintain a healthy stock of roses for the Valentine’s Day because of their huge demand. Roses signify love and so they sell as hot cakes because every person is there to show their love and gratitude towards their partners. Valentine’s Day is the day for lovers. The roses have been the symbol of love for centuries and it will continue to be so for the years to come. Roses come in a variety of colors and each color has a message of its own. White rose symbolize innocence and purity; yellow roses on the other hand indicate jealousy. The rose which spreads and symbolizes love is red. It does not matter whether you give a single red rose or a bunch of them; the main message it spreads is of love. This is a wonderful way to say “I love you” on a valentine’s day.
