By Expert Author: Roy Rivera

Are you finding it hard to stay motivated while you are trying to find a literary agent? You are not alone. It is a hard task to find an agent that will be right for you.
So you finished writing and rewriting your screenplay. You have polished your film script to perfection. Hopefully, you have mastered script writing at this juncture.
The best way to know that you have mastered script writing is to have a script doctor review the final draft of your screenplay. It is always a good idea to have a screenwriter marketing service sign off on your film script before you begin writing your screenplay query letters. Script writing is an art form and takes some practice to perfect.
Now your screenplay is ready to submit to the various literary agents that reside at the various literary agencies. Research is crucial to finding the agent that will be right for you and your film script.
Knowing which category or genre your screenplay fits into is the key to finding the literary agent that would be suitable for you. It is very important to know that agents specialize in their own fields of expertise.
Do not submit a screenplay query letter to an agent representing a different genre. You will only be met with rejection. What you are trying to do when finding a literary agent is to meet as little rejection as possible. So make sure you send your screenplay query letter to the agents that handle your type of film script.
After writing your screenplay query letter to the various literary agents you are now at the mercy of the waiting game.
Staying motivated begins with a strong belief in yourself and your writing abilities. This is a good time to start working on another story idea. Pull out your notebook, laptop or whatever works best for you and begin brainstorming. Keep yourself occupied with other stories and projects.
Go ahead and do some follow-up phone calls to the literary agents you have submitted your screenplay query letters to. If you have not heard from them and it has been close to two months. You may want to revisit submitting additional query letters out to other agents.
When you are trying to find a literary agent, it is all right to let them know you have other story ideas that they may be interested in. Sometimes the screenplay you are currently submitting will not be looked at. However, another idea will be more appealing to the agent at this time.
Whatever gets your foot in the door of Hollywood and helps you to find a literary agent to represent you. I would say go for it.
