The Good Time For A Divorce
Marriage is a wonderful thing. It is a situation where the couple involved can have a certain sense of security and belongingness. However, marriages (like all the other units in our society) are not perfect. In fact, it is so flawed that our law makers legalized divorce a long time ago. Now, some people might view divorce as a total mockery of the whole marriage system, but others find it very convenient and (at some circumstances) as a lifesaver as well. I have a few scenarios prepared for you. When you have reached one of these, perhaps it is best to contact a divorce attorney and plan your single life again.
When things are not working out anymore
I understand that when you first started your life together with your partner, everything seemed so great and full of possibilities. However, along the way, your power button just switched off and you do not understand why you even married your partner at the first place. Perhaps all you need is a few reconnections. Perhaps a few marriage therapies can help. But when those things just won’t take you up from your pit, then I believe there is only one thing left to ...
... do. Cut your losses and leave.
When you fall out of love
Okay. That one might sound a little mean and inconsiderate. But you did try your best to light up the fire again. It is not your fault anymore. Perhaps you will feel better if your reason is as simple as you are not in love anymore. Right? How can you stay inside a relationship when you know you do not love the other person anymore. It is living in a lie, and that is no way to live a whole lifestyle. You will be doing yourself a huge favor if you choose to find yourself again.
When there is violence involved
Who in their right mind wants to be smacked on the head every few minutes while their children are watching? No. no one would ever like that—not unless you are a hopeless masochist who cannot see any life outside of your marriage. However, even if you were like that, you would have to explode eventually. You would have to reached the overused “enough is enough” conclusion. The only wise action in this kind situation is leave. Afterward, secure a temporary restraining order and a heck of a good divorce attorney. Believe me, you will need all of those.
When cheating and adultery is involved
I will once again utilize my masochist reference. Why? Because only a masochist stays in a marriage even after discovered dishonesty with his or her spouse. Cheating is not even forgivable even in the dating world. Well, how much more in the world of marriage? I believe divorce is created for a purpose. And the reasons I have listed are just a part of that purpose. Sometimes, the best thing to do is to end a rotten relationship before it gets even worst. And I believe that through divorce people can do just that without resorting to further violence or pain of any sort.
