In addition to use diamond circular saw blades for cutting, sometimes if we want to take precise cutting or grooving, it is better to use super thin diamond grinding wheel, which is another common diamond tool. As for the general cutting features, slow feeding speed and deep cutting or grooving, at the same time, the contact surface between grinding wheel and cutting raw materials are large, which is the meaning that cutting efficiency would be high, along with narrow cutting gap and high accuracy cutting, it is widely used for some metal cutting.

OK, in the following article, I will mainly discuss some cutting features of such super thin diamond grinding wheel in detailed.

Firstly, if it is the whole style diamond grinding wheel, its thickness would be less than 0.5mm while its external diameter is also small, always between 20mm and 100mm. Meanwhile, its diamond particle size is super thin, along with light weight and high accuracy size and cutting location. When being used under high speed rotating, its revolving speed would be between 5000 Revolutions Per Minute and 40000 Revolutions Per Minute.

Secondly, if it is the matrix style diamond grinding wheel, it is a little thicker than the whole style one, about between 0.5mm and 2mm. At the same time, its diameter is also larger, between 100mm and 200mm. In most cases, it is used for low revolving speed but deep cutting requirements because of its thick particle size and low cutting accuracy. Its revolving speed would be between 3000 Revolutions Per Minute and 10000 Revolutions Per Minute.

Thirdly, during the production of super thin diamond grinding wheel, lots of diamond with thin particle size are used and the thinner grinding wheel, the thinner particle size and its cutting effect is more better, however, because of thinner grinding material particle size, cutting sharpness would be reduced, therefore it is necessary to control the feeding speed so as to accommodate the machinability of grinding material.

Fourthly, the cutting depth with super thin diamond grinding wheel is greatly dependent on the cutting components, when using it for cutting, feed speed is too much slow and the cutting depth can be reached for just one time cutting. Due to thinner grinding wheel and poor cutting condition, the cutting high temperature is difficult to be lowered unde such circumstance, and it is necessary to use some cooling liquid to cool down cutting zone.

Only four tips are introduced for you at here and you can share what you comment.

Flostools is one of famous carbide circular saw blades manufacturers in China, and you can find different types and different sizes circular saw blades including Wood Saw Blades, panel cutting saw blades and other types.
