The downspouts are then measured, fabricated and placed at proper locations to allow rainwater to run away from your home. The rain gutter attachment to the downspout will have a seam. This joint is usually sealed with a self leveling, industrial quality sealant. This sealant should have a warranty of at least 3-5 years against leakage. Most seamless rain gutters are connected to your home with hidden hangers or brackets that are closely spaced.
