By Expert Author: Ryan789 Breen

Essential oils aren’t just simple fluids; they can give you a lot of therapeutic benefits by using them. You may buy essential oils, and then educate yourself on how to use them. These organic oils can be used aromatically, topically or internally. It can also be part of your home cleaning remedies. However, make sure that you will use high quality pure Organic Essential Oil, especially for topical use and internal intake.. Here’s how to use essential oils.

Aromatic Use

You can use essential oil aromatically by inhaling or sniffing its scent. To do this, you should have a diffuser. It is a device used for bringing out the aroma of the essential oil in the air. It usually involves water and heat.
There are simple diffusers that you yourself can create using household materials. The most common is the tissue or cotton diffuser. You will just put a few drops of essential oil to a piece of tissue or cotton. You can also use steam diffuser by just adding essential oil to boiled water. The oil will be diffused through the steam. However, these simple diffusers cannot produce long lasting aroma. That leads to the development of advanced diffusers that can also be purchased at essential oils store. With these diffusers, the essential oil can provide an enduring aroma.

Topical Use

You can combine essential oil to other ingredients to formulate several topical remedies. It can be added to massage oils, bath solutions and even gargle. You can also make your own body scrub by mixing it with household ingredients like salt and sugar. Make your own deodorant, toothpaste, lip balm and blemish remover using the proper essential oils. Lavender and peppermint are the most usual oils used in this application.

Around-The-House Applications

You can make your own air freshener, room spray and sticker remover with essential oils. You can also add them to the water that you are going to use for cleaning. The most common essential oils used in this application are lavender, lemon and sweet orange because of their sweet and friendly smell. The kids will surely love to get a sniff of these fragrant oils.

First Aid

Essential oils have this natural healing property. You can make your own first-aid remedies for scrapes, cuts, wounds and insect bites. Essential oils are also great in relieving headaches and curing sunburns. Lavender, Melaleuca and Peppermint are the most common essential oils for this application.

Ingestion

The internal use of essential oils for medicinal purposes should only be done upon the strong recommendation of a physician.
