Have you ever thought of an advert as an asset?
Or a sales letter as a profit centre?
And why is it that some adverts are worth far more than the product they're promoting?
Take for example The Wall Street Journal Letter which made over two billion dollars in its time.
Or the International Living letter that mailed for twenty seven years.
Yes this is the letter that started Agora which is now a six hundred million dollar a year giant.
How about the modest advert Joe Karbo wrote in the seventies which made him three million dollars?
You may have heard of it, the headline read, "The Lazy Man's Way to Riches."
Each one of these promotions became assets for their writers.
Now wouldn't it be something if you had an asset like any one of these working for you while you were busy...
... doing whatever you wanted!
Okay so how do you go about creating an asset like a great sales letter or a persuasive advert?
If you've been around copywriting for any length of time you'll have heard of swipe files.
These are collections of winning adverts and letters that have made millions.
Gary Halbert once wrote a winning sales letter during a seminar he gave. The letter made over one million dollars.
Do you know how he did it?
He swiped a John Carlton letter.
If you buy any copywriting course from any of the masters like John Carlton, Clayton Makepeace or Gary Bencivenga, to name but a few, they all furnish you with their personal swipe files.
Because they and all the other masters know, that swiping ideas from money making promotions (aka controls), is one of the best ways to create your own wealth creating asset.
If you go to the largest copywriting school on the planet, AWAI, which just happens to be a subsidiary of Agora, and get their basic copywriting course, they will present you with a book.
The book, 'Hall of Fame' contains a sample of some of the best promotions ever written.
In fact there are fifty winning promo's.
There's only one downside to this as far as I can tell.
You have to read them all to get any real value from them.
And that's too much like hard work for most people.
So what I've done is recorded some of them.
Now I listen to them every day.
The idea for me is to have these controls in my mind ready to swipe ideas from them the next time I write.
And I know that's the fastest, surest way to write better copy.

And notice how you begin thinking differently about your writing.

Listen to your own recording every day and you'll discover the world of accelerated learning.

You do nothing except listen. You can even play the recording in the background while you're doing something else.
After listening to the controls for a short time your writing automatically becomes more persuasive.
Plus, you never know, you may even write your own assets in the process.
You could be just one letter away from becoming wealthy.
