At worse, you could offend some people and lose more than you gain. Instead, just keep to a simple but professional tone of voice that will have universal appeal. There is no need to be still or formal in tone but polite and courteous is a key element, respecting all views.
Most copywriters who are regularly writing for web is to adopt a 'less is more' approach; this is good to understand because information overload is a fault many blog writers fall prey to in the early days and it is often a waste and off-putting. There is only so much information most people will be able to absorb at any given time before giving up. It is better for people to absorb a little information which they will remember than read a lot and digest nothing.
The opening paragraph is vital to catch the reader's attention. Keep this concise and focused with cohesion or you risk people giving up very early on if they think there is going to be nothing much more of substance to take in.
Instead begin with a creative, eye catching opening, and follow with a nice chunky middle and neat, tailored conclusion. In this way, you are, in effect, creating a story style which always appeals and keeps reader interest alive. The main aim is to keep readers reading.
To use SEO copywriting effectively, you will need to insert keywords strategically into your copy. Do not stuff these in or force as this will be detriment to your appeal by both the search engines and the readers and will look obvious.
Blog writing for business is a highly interactive marketing tool when done correctly; you can constantly feed your readers fresh snippets of information on what you offer or can do for them, implying your expert knowledge - and keeping the search engines happy. This is what SEO is all about.
In a market flooded with advertising material of all descriptions, a well written online blog with correct keyword insertion and excellent English. as well as giving good information can work wonders. You can generate attention from a well targeted audience, boosting your company image, service and sales.
