Printer Features And Benefits Of Wireless Printing
If you are looking to purchase a printer for your home or business and consider buying one capable of printing A3- sized paper
If you are looking to purchase a printer for your home or business and consider buying one capable of printing A3- sized paper, then you are probably interested to find out the features, pros and cons and things to be aware of before you make the purchase. Some A3 printers are specifically designed for photo printing and are fairly pricey, whilst some printers are for general home or office use and are cheaper.
The main features of an A3 printer and things to be aware of are; slower printing and higher print costs, printer size and extra cartridge slots. Keep in mind that printing A3- sized paper takes a little bit longer than A4- sized paper and the text print speed or photo print is generally rather slow. Most A3 printers nowadays have at least 4 to 8 individual colors as some take additional colors, so you will likely need a set of 4 to 8 cartridges at a time which will increase your printing costs. Modem printers use Ethernet, USB and wireless connectivity as well as standard ...
... connectivity.
The benefits of wireless printing make more and more people turn to printers that use this way of connectivity. First of all, you can print from anywhere in the office or home, even if you are far away from the printer thanks to the constantly growing range of Wi-Fi. With no wires to trip on, there are no safety hazards and there is a lot more space around the desk. The power cord is the only wire you see and the rest of the connection is done with the help of the Wi-Fi signal. The location where you put the printer is flexible and you save money by not having to install a printer on every desk, buy cables and network lacks. Another age- old battle is between laser printers versus inkjet printers.
The pros for laser printers are: faster printing speed, perfectly sharp, black text, they can handle high-volume print jobs and are less wasteful as they print more sheets using laser toner cartridges. When it comes to cons, laser printers are bigger and heavier and can have bad toner leaks. They need time to warm-up and accrue bigger costs in the long run. When it comes to ink jet printers versus laser printers, inkjet printers are great for photo printing and have a low start-up cost. The printers and cartridges are less expensive than laser ones, the printers are smaller and easier to maintain and need almost no warm-up time before printing. The problems with inkjets is that the ink is very expensive, they need frequent cleaning, prints are susceptible to water damage and fading because the ink is water-based and can produce fuzzy text
An all-in-one printer or AIO, is a desktop unit that often has features lacking in the larger devices as they are targeted towards home users. Some features of an all-in one printer include a DVD burner and light scribe functionality that allows the user to create an image on a special light scribe DVI CD. AIOs focus on scan and print functionality for home use, include smart card readers and direct connection to digital cameras and can print black and white or color and have Fax capabilities.
