Plenty of people whenever they think about England think of London. It is the largest city in Europe and among the greatest worldwide. It is a superb place to enjoy as a tourist and a superb place to stay and work. There is much more to England thought than just London.

England is stooped in history and there are a lot of famous battles in the past. These have of course left their mark on several areas. There are lots of mansions in England and in some cases; you will be able to notice the battle scars left on buildings.

England is broken down into areas. Whilst a few are similar, others are really different. Certainly the north of England is quite distinctive from the south. Okay, there will be similarities while comparing cities however beyond that, they are really quite different. In general, northerners are usually a lot more relaxed. The speed of life tends to be slower. Northerners also tend to be a lot more welcoming. The north west of England is one of the loveliest parts of the country and is popular with tourists and business men and women. It has an extraordinarily high number of world renowned football teams. Liverpool as well as Manchester United are perhaps the most popular with Everton and Manchester City close behind.

The north west of England is even well-known for its musicians too. The well-known band to originate from the North West must be The Beatles. Should you visit Liverpool, you may visit Abbey road and have your photograph taken crossing the famous zebra crossing just like on the Abbey Road album cover.

With lots of great conference venues, it comes as no real surprise that the North West is a favourite location for firms to hold meetings. In addition it has got plenty of activities to do in the evening as well so entertaining your guests won't be an issue.

If you focus on what firms expect when scheduling a conference, locations like Southport and also Liverpool have them all. They are easy places to arrive at with fantastic transportation connections. You can drive there, get the train and in case you are coming from further afield, you can actually take a flight.

Finding the right conference venue can be a tough job especially in the where you are spoilt for choice. The best thing to do is to create a list of your specific needs and then to move through every point gradually shortlisting venues which satisfy your requirements. You have to reserve earlier though. It is a favourite place and conference locations and hotels could get reserved. You definitely don't wish to leave things until the very last minute and be left having to book second choice locations.
