The chocolate, derived from the tropical plant the obroma Cacao meaning "Food for the Gods" was brought to Europe in the year 1528 by Cortes. Until the year 1615, it remained a top secret of the Spanish until King Louis XIII married the daughter of the king of Spain. She then introduced the particular chocolate to the French court, the French love of the chocolate has not ceased since.
Several of the recent researches and the studies have specifically confirmed that the positive role that the chocolate can play in our diets in indeed great. We are all told that we must eat the foods laden with the high amount of the anti-oxidants, and we should always tend to eat the foods which are completely high in the vitamins or the minerals. French chocolate is a major product which has a high source of these important elements and constitutes a balanced diet for an individual when taken in right quantity.
Eating the French chocolates which are not too high in the sugar can be indeed beneficial to your health in a major way. As with all eating, this needs to be in moderation but the CHOCOLATE is indeed very beneficial to your health.
So many of the diets today want us to give up absolutely everything and only eat certain foods. But eating a completely balanced diet with all the food groups, eating the smaller portions, yet eating three times a day a full meal is far more healthier than the way most of the people eat today. You can indeed include a little amount of the French chocolate bars in your diet in order relish its taste and enjoy the nutrients contained in it.
