What You Need To Know About Article Length That Sucks Readers

By Author: Douglas Walker

Are you creating long articles in your article marketing campaigns? Or are they too short? This article is going to give you the specific recommendation on creating the right length of article for your readers for getting them to click through to your outbound links in your resource box.
Length
My recommendation is creating an article around 400 to 500 words maximum. This way you can offer specific tips, how-to's, or relevant information for your reader. Anything more, is not going to be extremely effective to get readers to your outbound links. Because the name of the game in article marketing is getting them to click through to your website.
Writing anything shorter than four hundred words is not really going to position yourself as an expert in your specific niche. You won't be able to contribute the amount of value that is needed to build trust with less than four hundred words.
Structure
Secondly, you should be able to structure your article correctly to make reading the article easier on the reader. Try to stay away from long paragraph that offer no break. Instead, build the article with short paragraphs that are ranging from 2 to 3 sentences max.
If your sentences go over this, split it up into multiple different paragraphs as it'll provide easier reading for your perspective visitor. As you know, a lot of people work with computers every day and reading long amounts of text is hard on the eyes, especially if they're skimming for relevant information to a problem that they may have.
Formatting
So when developing your article it's recommended that you follow this format. Your introduction should be around 50 to 75 words, the body of the article should be easily around three hundred words with three main points that you can elaborate on, and then you concluding paragraph should equal around one hundred words. This way, you can easily reach 400 to 500 word article easily.
Now some of you may be struggling to create a four hundred word article following this format. Just remember, that each section does not need to be exactly what I quoted. If you find that your introduction is going to go over one hundred words that's fine. Just make sure that you cut down on your conclusion or your body so you equal around four hundred to five hundred words. Because the last thing you want to do, is have a seven hundred word article for your readers.
But it takes time to create good articles if you try to do it all alone. But my final recommendation is following someone live as they show you how to create killer articles. This way, their is no mistakes and confusion on getting it right.
