This is a brilliant age we live in. Since I am an artist, I'm constantly mindful of the numerous small details involved in interior design.

In the past, lightning design for the most part came in one of two forms. there were also illumination designed to enhance an area from a concealed source like the Art Chandelier "Forms in Nature by Pio Diaz . Illumination in the home is far more important than many people are aware of. I'm very mindful of the multitude of options that are available for an overall visual effect I'm after since I am a designer by trade.Having said that, I'm more conscious these days of the effect the lighting employed is going to have on the inhabitants of the environment I am developing.

Seasonal affective disorder that is a result of the lack of natural light throughout long winter hours and off seasons is common knowledge of most of the people I work with. There has not been a lot of news on the subject of FSL (full spectrum lighting) in the general world of interior planning which is a shame.

Understanding the different wavelengths of lighting is very important. Each one ...
... of these light sources have a distinctive spectrum of light that is produced and this can be of equal importance.Over time our bodies can be affected differently by each of these spectrums of light as well.

The yellow to red end of the visible light spectrum is where cool white fluorescent lighting is concentrated.Energy-efficient fluorescent lighting is generally concentrated in the yellow to green area of the lighting spectrum where as Incandescent lighting is concentrated in the orange to red end of the spectrum. The missing area of the color lighting spectrum in all three of these sources is unfortunately blue. Of the whole lighting spectrum, this is the color that is best provided by sunlight and also the most important for humans.Full spectrum fluorescent lights are the best choice for interior lighting since it provides this blue element of light.

There have been a focus on numerous studies of the impact of illumination and its long-term relation to wellness and health. While we are aware of the psychological positive aspects of proper lighting we should also be aware of the physiological benefits. Often less quantifiable and easily dismissed are the benefits of day lighting. Day lighting has been associated with improved disposition, lower fatigue and enhanced morale. Reduction in anxiety, concentration, improved mood and decreased stress and anxiety have also been known to be impacted by the blue spectrum of light that is frequently lacking in interior lighting.

While implementing any interior design this should be seriously taken into consideration. The sheen of the different colors you use is also directly related to the spectrum of light in your homes interior design. The same way light has a direct relationship on our mood and health, some specific different colors have also been known to be a powerful influence. It is very important to take this into account when planning out your lighting style and design.

It is the belief of Dr. Alexander Schauss, director of the American Institute for Biosocial Research in Tacoma, Washington that when some specific colors enter our bodies, they stimulate the pituitary and pineal glands. This in turn directly affects the development of certain hormones, which in turn impacts a variety of physiological processes|in turn impacting a variety of physiological functions}. This might explain why color has recently been found to have such a strong impact on our thought, disposition and behavior. Quite a few specialists believe that this is distinctly separate from psychological and cultural elements.

Incredibly, color even appears to have an effect on blind individuals. In clinical tests blind people have been able to sense color as a result of energy vibrations produced within their bodies.
