Employers in the industry are looking for candidates who either have the technical skills or the trade-based skills that machines cannot sufficiently replace.

Nonetheless, the food industry in general is still in demand of workers that have the qualifications and are trainable. Most jobs in manufacturing highlights technicians, machine operators, assemblers and fabricators. Jobs such as sorters, samplers and similar jobs are now outdated. The lost of the old line of manufacturing created a new kind of skilled worker.
