We'll all leave a legacy but it's up to you whether your legacy will be like footprints in the sand or permanently preserved in your own words. The summary of your decisions, things learned, loved and accomplished will become a fading memory to people who knew you but preserving your legacy doesn’t have to be left to others. How you are remembered in time will ultimately depend on whether or not you take the time to preserve and share your story. One of the greatest benefits of leaving a legacy is getting to share your memories, what you valued most, and passing along your wisdom. When you preserve your legacy you are transferring your values, work ethic and passions to those who will follow. Creating a Legacy is something everyone should do for their loved ones.

Another benefit of preserving your legacy is to ensure your existence will not be forgotten. Just as quickly as footprints in the sand disappear, so will your legacy if you don’t take time to preserve and share it. Memories eventually fade. Generations come and go. You can make sure that your life experiences, wisdom, memories and impact isn’t lost. By creating your legacy, you guarantee future generations never forgot what it was like for you.

By choosing to preserve your legacy, you allow others to stand as a witness to your life and memories. You share your most trusted experiences, valuable lessons learned and intimate encounters with others. Generations will be able to reflect & appreciate your legacy. They will understand the significance of your pictures because you will tell the story behind every memory. Your journals can be as detailed as you want. This is your life and legacy. Don’t let it fade away.

Life is journey and in the blink of an eye, all that you know and love can change. Time makes no promises to anyone and time is the one think you can’t get back. There are moments that go by too fast, like summer breaks, Christmas, vacations and the growth of our children. It’s up to each of us to make the most of our time here on earth. If you don’t take the time to preserve and share your legacy, all that you worked for & cared about could be lost. Don’t let that happen to you.
