Take a look at the infomercials that come on late at night on TV. All these programs is nothing but sales copy - spoken. As you can tell, they're not always grammatically sound. They speak to you as if you're a friend, and if you had a question about their product. This is the same why that you should write. Here's another tip for writing good sales copy:
2) Introduce yourself
If you're a new entrant in your niche, people will want to know who you are, and why you're relevant. They probably won't know who you are, so you will have to introduce yourself to them, and tell them your background. Now when doing this, you will only want to say some particular things about yourself.
You will want to state your name, how you got involved in this niche, your brief story, why you created or are selling a product, and why you're an expert or authority when it comes to your niche. Make yourself sound credible - but don't lie in any way. Just try to build up a connection with your readers, and you will be just fine. Here's the last tip towards writing good sales copy:
3) Have a decent looking sales page
All too often I come across sales pages that look ridiculous. It doesn't matter what you sell... make it a point to have a nice and organized sales page so that your visitors can easily navigate on your site. Keep things simple. You want people to get in, then get out.
I know you've probably heard people say that you want people to stay on your site for around 10-20 minutes - but I disagree with this. It doesn't matter what you sell. Don't send your visitors on a joy ride. Lead them in the right direction that their internet searches have directed them too.
