Football is a tough game to play and the players need to be tougher to bear the pain of the game. For them, the safety of their body is essential. Besides these, the most important protection required for footballers is a girdle. It holds pads in place, protecting the players in the areas of ribs, arms, elbows, hands, thighs, hips and knees. It is also called 7 pad girdle, designed to achieve protection, comfort, grip and excellent performance. The girdles come with 3 pads, 5 pads and 7 pads and go directly under the football jerseys or shorts. The 7 pad girdles are the most preferred protective gear. These work wonders for a player's protection against unprotected tackles, as well as against some of the toughest aches and pains that can come through muscles.
The rib protectors and 3, 5 and 7 pad girdles come in different styles and sizes to meet the requirements of various players. These are made of sweat absorbing and moisture wicking fabric which keeps the player cool under the pads. These pads give a player maximum protection on the front and the back. Lightweight material is used so that it is more comfortable for the footballers to wear and enhance easy movement.
Another type of gear used in football are gloves. These are designed to provide protection to the hands, besides being comfortable and allowing strong grip. Gloves are created with C-track material and multi-layered foam on the inner side to provide firm grip and protect wrist. These are available in different sizes and colors.
