As information technology continues to evolve, it provides with bold new opportunities to revolutionize how your equipment is served and supported after it leaves the factory. These service and support and new opportunities can improve your competitive position by simultaneously increasing revenue and decreasing costs.

Crane service truck proportional hydraulic radio remote controls are specifically manufactured for industrial automation. This industrial remote control greatly improves job site safety by providing the operator the safest vantage point for effective control of the crane. This one man remote control system eliminates the requirement for a second person stabilizing the load while guiding its placement.

Crane Remote controls are available in 4 different models. These are:

1. DSST – yellow handheld – used for proportional control
2. ASKR – blue handheld
3. FHSR – blue handheld to be used in areas where interference is a factor
4. ASKW – up to 8 functions

Handheld Transmitter: The Handheld transmitters are available with up to twelve crane control buttons as ...
... specified by customer. The rechargeable transmitter delivers 30 hrs of continuous use between charges (charger supplied). The optional 'Enable' button requires two deliberate steps before signal is sent (Enable plus command signal).

Equipment Mounted Receiver/Controller: The receiver is up to twelve pre-programmed with high-side outputs available. Now the outputs can be selectively interlocked to other operations for safety reasons. The optional external antenna extends range from 100ft up to 2000ft. At the same time, the interface to OEM crane controls can be simplified with factory installed direct-plug connectors or through J1939 serial communication (other protocols available). And the modular components and external set-up button allow for easy installation and field replacement.

The transmitter specifications of crane remote control: The frequency operation of this system is up to 902-928 MHz FHSS. And the transmitter power is almost 100mW. The method of transmission is up to 56 bit DES with encryption key. The crane remote control has Internal 'on card' PCB mounts (no visible antennas to damage).

The normal range of this remote control is 500 feet (up to 2000ft available with external antenna). The system is completely constructed with water resistant, impact resistant polycarbonate (external mount if required). And the temperature speciation’s are minus 20 F to 185 F. the battery life is 30 hours continuous / audible low battery warning / flashing low battery indicator. The rechargeable Lithium Ion included with 12/24VDC charger.

The receiver specifications: The frequency of operation is 902-928 MHz FHSS (433.92, 869.7 and 2.4GHz available). The power supply is up to 12/24VDC (Optional 120VAC systems available).

The current load of the remote control system is up to 4Amps @ 12VDC per channel or 10Amps DC per system total (High Current 30Amp "H" series receiver available)

The system is constructed with water resistant; impact resistant polycarbonate (can be mounted externally on crane). The system is internally protected and encased (optional external antenna/coax available). The Pre-wired to meet OEM requirements, quick connect fittings supplied.

The programming is up to 12 programmable channels including: Latched, momentary, Enable and interlock modes.

BASE Engineering designs excellent Crane remote control systems for different engineering and commercial purposes.
