In many of the offices these days, it is observed that the windows are covered with blind that are used to cover the window making the room not only more private, but also in order to manage the sunlight or outer light coming into the room. Also, the airflow in the room or premises can be greatly controlled with the help of blinds. In fact, blinds are also becoming popular in many houses, hotels and even educational institutes these days.

These blinds do come in various varieties depending upon the needs of the people occupying the room and can be adjusted as and when a change in the light coming in or the atmosphere of the room is required. Often, such blinds are found in conference rooms, common areas, management cabins etc. Let us have a look at a particular type of blinds called venetian blinds and wooden venetian blinds:

There is usually a string attached to the blind’s side and when pulled either ways, it accordingly closes or opens up the blinds.

Wooden Venetian blinds: These blinds are just a wooden version of the above and as the above can be made in metal, plastic, vinyl and other materials, these are made only of wood. Also, the above are commonly known in the US as wood blinds or bamboo blinds.

Blinds prove to be a great help when one does not want to deal with the traditional curtains and they keep the airflow, exterior light and unwelcome peeking under control. They are hence the best option for using on windows.
