Calgary, the largest city in Alberta, is one of the most admired tourist hotspots in Canada. IV. Calgary Tower – Standing at the height of 627 feet, it was opened to the public in the year 1968. It is the tallest structure in Canada outside of Toronto. It is open on all days from 9am to 9pm. The view of the entire city from its observation deck is nothing less than spectacular.

V. Fort Calgary – Established in the year 1875 by the North-West Mounted Police, the fort was built in order to prevent illegal trade of whiskey in the area. It has been named as a National Historic Site. The fort is made from pine and spruce logs. It is considered as the birthplace of Calgary which resulted from the efforts of the Mounted Police and the local citizens.
