The word ‘ammunition’ is derived from French ‘la munition’ which implies all the equipment that is used in war, especially ranging from gunpowder to artillery. The collective term that is used to describe nearly all kinds of ammunitions is munitions. This is in fact a term that covers nearly anything that can be used for combat and destruction, ranging from bombs, missiles, warheads and mines and all types of guns. While the slang word for ammunition is simply ‘ammo’, in common layman terms, people often assume that the word ‘ammo’ simply implies guns of all kinds.

The entire field and subject of ammunition is a complex one as it covers nearly everything that is related to war and battles, ranging from targets, use of weapons, personnel, and explosive objects, among a host of other equipment. The components of ammunition are usually said to be explosive materials, propellants, projectiles that is firing materials of all kinds and cartridges.

A handgun holster is a device that holds the gun and prevents its unnecessary firing, while allowing the firearm to be in such a place that it can be easily retrieved for usage at a second’s notice. There are different kinds of materials used for making holsters although they are always stiff and tough so that they can carry the metal weight of the gun. However, the most common material used by people when it comes to holsters is leather, as this can carry the gun effectively and does not allow it to get wet or damaged. Sometimes, holsters also come in various designs and patterns.
