Careers Related To The Africa Travel Industry
There are many different careers related to the Africa travel industry. Some of these careers are held by the people who work at the hotel jobs. The hotel jobs are created because all of the visitors that come to see the sights in Africa require places to stay while they are in the country. This means they need rooms to sleep in, food to eat, and modes of transportation to be provided.
Large portions of the people that come to this country do so because they wish to take Safari trips to see and examine the wild life that are there. These people will likely camp out some of the time that they are in the country, but they will also need a room at a hotel to stay in when they are waiting for the Safari to begin, and when they are in the cities.
There has to be rental car establishments to provide the people from other countries with the means of transportation to get around the country side. There needs to be gas stations to provide fuel for all of these rental cars and there has to be insurance agencies to provide insurance coverage to all of the customers and to the companies.
There has to be tour guides ...
... to take the people from the places of heavy population to the more remote areas where they can see the wild animals and experience the beauty of the country. These tour guides all require homes, food, and all of the conveniences that the rest of us use. So they put money back into the local economy.
There has to be souvenir shops to provide the tourist with places to purchase items to commemorate their stay in Africa. There also has to be other shops that can supply the equipment needed to go on the camping Safari trips, and other essentials. All of these places pay local taxes, and use local utilities, so they are putting money back into the community and this is benefiting all of the citizens of the region.
All of these jobs as well as many hotel jobs are directly related to the Africa travel industry. The increased numbers of travelers also creates a need for more police officers, taxi drivers, restaurants and dry cleaners. All of the small businesses and most of the large businesses are directly affected by the number of people that come to see the country while they are on vacation.
